• "Excellence Program" Training Teachers

    Yoyo School of Dancing is built on the philosophy of "nurturing people". Focusing on the mission of using love to spread and promote dance, we pay attention to the growth of each student, and create spaces to allow development of skills. The Excellence Program is one such space. This program will give outstanding young students who love to dance the opportunity to apply what they have learned, while also equipping them with soft skills that will help them on their career paths. It will also help address the scarcity of outstanding Chinese dance teachers and dance classes available to students outside of China. Such favourable outcomes are important reasons for us to implement this program. Gradually, we are determined to implement the "Excellence Program" as part of our goal to develop talent at Yoyo School of Dancing.     Specialities: Chinese Dance.

    • Dancing for 8+ years, with 6 years at Yoyo School of Dance.
    • 2023: High gold award & dance showdown candidate at Evolve (group dance).
    • 2024: Platinum award & fifth overall at Evolve (solo dance).
    • 2024: Platinum award & special award Fantastic Flowers at View (group dance).
    • 2025: Distinction award & first overall at Evolve (group dance)
    • 2025: Diamond award & fourth overall at Summit (duet).
    • 2025: Platinum award at View (duet)
    • 2025: Platinum award at View (group dance).
    • Enrolls in the Strathcona Composite High School dance program and partakes in the dance showcase.

    • Various experiences including being a dance TA and being involved in dance clubs at school.

    • 2024: View Dance Challenge Top 3 Teen Soloists & Invitation to Nationals.
    • 2023: Evolve Dance Competition; Platinum Solo Award & Judges Special Choreography Award.
    • 2022: Shiny Dancers International Dance Championship; Group Dance 1st Place.
    • 2020: Dance Power Competition; Group Dance Gold Award.
    • 2019: Fever International Dance Championship; Group Dance 1st Prize.
    • 2018: Fever International Dance Championship; Group Dance 1st Prize & Special Award: Visually Stunning .

    Specialities: Ballet, Chinese Dance.

    • 12+ years of dance training in Ballet and Chinese Dance.
    • 10+ years of stage experience performing Ballet, Chinese Dance, Contemporary, Latin Dance, Hip-Hop, KPOP.
    • 2024: Received platium award, first place, overall highest pre-competitive mark in group dance at View Dance Championships.
    • 2024: Received first place in group dance at Fever Dance Championship.
    • 2023: Received Gold in group dance at Dance Power Dance Competition.
    • Enrolled in the dance program at Lillian Osborne High School.

    Striving to cultivate the interest of each student and pass on my own love for dance to students.
