Yoyo School of Dancing will provide a variety of activities and classes this summer.
Our summer classes and camps will enrich your summer days with learning, art, and joy.
Series #1: Summer Camp
About summer camps
- Summer camps for age 4-6 is half day long and 5 days a session. The main content is Chinese dance.
- Summer camps for age 7-10 is one day long and 5 days a session. It includes half day of Chinese dance or KPOP and half day of English drama. Students will learn flexibility training and dance rehearsal for Chinese dance or KPOP and movement, expression and stage presence for English Drama.
Important information for summer camps
- A minimum of 5 registered students are required for a summer camp to run. If there are not enough students that register, the summer camp may be cancelled.
- Bring non-microwavable lunches, break time snacks, and a water bottle.
- Please dress appropriately for dance and exercise activities, bring dance shoes and indoor shoes.
Summer Camp for Age 4-6, Chinese Dance.
- Session #1: SC01, July 10th-14th, 9am-12pm.
- Session #2: SC02, July 17th-21st, 9am-12pm.
- Session #3: SC03, July 24th-28th, 9am-12pm.
- Session #4: SC04, August 7th-11th, 9am-12pm.
- Schedule:
- 9-9:50am, flexibility and strength training.
- 10-10:50am, dance rehearsal.
- 11am-12pm, games with music.
- Location: Studio #1.
- Fee: $209.48 (GST included).
- Teacher: Vian.
Summer Camps for Age 7-10, Chinese Dance and English Drama.
- Session #1: SC05, July 3rd-7th, 9am-4pm.
- Session #2: SC06, July 10th-14th, 9am-4pm.
- Session #3: SC07, July 17th-21st, 9am-4pm.
- Schedule:
- 9-10:20am, flexibility and strength training.
- 10:30-11:50am, dance rehearsal.
- 12-1pm, lunch and break.
- 1-4pm, English Drama: movement, expression, stage presence.
- Location: Studio #2.
- Fee: $370.55 (GST included).

- Session #4: SC08, July 24th-28th, 9am-4pm.

- 9am-12pm, KPOP dance.
- 12-1pm, lunch and break.

Series #3: Dance For Fun

Ballet Master Workshop
Our dance school is honoured to have Lang Ma, the principal performer of the Alberta Ballet, to provide workshop for students in advanced level.
- SA05, for students in advanced level 3-4, Jul. 10-14, 9am-4pm.
- SA06, for students in advanced level 5-6, Jul. 24-28, 9am-4pm.
- Schedule:
- 9am-12pm, Classical ballet technique.
- 12-1pm, lunch and break.
- 1-4pm, Rehearsal.
- Location: Studio #2.
- Fee: $698.25 (GST included).
- Teachers: Lang Ma.
